Help and support
Evokina plans your food around your week. If something is not working, or you need a hand with your account, this page is the place to start.
Contact
Write to simon@simonfrewin.com. Say what you were doing and what happened, and which phone or computer you are on. You will get a reply from a person, normally within two working days.
Signing in
- Sign in with the email address and password you chose when you created your account.
- Evokina is in private beta. To create an account you need an invite code from the person who invited you.
- You need to be 18 or over.
Forgotten your password
- On the sign-in screen, choose "Forgotten your password?" and type your email address.
- If that address has an account, an email arrives with a link to choose a new password. The link works once, for one hour. Check your junk folder.
- Choosing a new password signs you out everywhere else.
- No email after a few minutes? Write to simon@simonfrewin.com from the address you signed up with, and you will be sent a link by hand. That can happen if you have unsubscribed from Simon's emails in the past.
Deleting your account
- In the app, open Settings and choose "Delete my account" at the bottom. You are asked for your password.
- Your account and everything in it are removed straight away and cannot be brought back.
- If you cannot get in, write to simon@simonfrewin.com from the address you signed up with and it will be deleted for you.
The AI coach
The coach, the photo estimate and the recipe writer use an AI model. They are off until you turn them on, and you can turn them off again in Settings. How Evokina uses your data says exactly what is sent.
The groups
- To report a post, choose "Report" under it and say what is wrong. Reported posts are looked at within 24 hours.
- To stop seeing someone, choose "Block" under one of their posts. You can undo it from the list of groups.
- Posts that are abusive, hateful, sexual, selling something or giving medical advice are removed, and people who post them lose the groups.
What Evokina is, and is not
Evokina helps with food and habits: planning meals, shopping and keeping track. It is not medical advice, not a medicine and not a replacement for one. For anything medical, including any medicine you take, speak to your GP or the person who prescribes it. If you are worried about your relationship with food, Beat can help.
